Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and execute lacrosse sports curriculum
- Teach and coach weekly lacrosse sessions
- Supervise and guide program participants
- Engage students in the world of lacrosse
- Coordinate games and special events
- Develop positive relationships with students that promotes wellness, growth, respect and dignity
- Communicate and work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Collaborate with other instructors on curriculum ideas and implementation
- Act as a positive role model for students
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge Requirements
- A commitment to the mission and programs of HCZ
- 1 year experience in teaching or coaching lacrosse; Bachelor's degree is a plus
- Must have strong classroom management skills
- Experience working with youth and adolescent population
- A commitment to teaching and providing continuity on a part time basis
- Ability to connect with and motivate students teens
- Must have strong leadership and organizational skills
- Must be able to work well within a team unit
- Ability to effectively engage students
- Must be available to work afterschool and evening hours
