Green Run Collegiate (GRC) prefers teacher-facilitators who have IB and/or AVID experience or teacher-facilitators who are open to attend both IB and AVID professional development opportunities to further develop and implement a concept-based curriculum to include interdisciplinary units of study. Teacher-facilitators are expected to be well-versed in differentiating instruction for a diverse student population. Qualified teacher-facilitators will seek opportunities to coach or advise students in extracurricular activities to include community service. Going above and beyond for students is the norm for GRC teachers; they are open to working a flexible schedule which may change yearly based on student needs.

Most importantly, GRC teacher-facilitators exhibit a mindset that all students can achieve their goals. They understand that students need to take risks and take ownership for their own acquisition of knowledge.
