About Your Role:
The Senior Content Manager will be a member of the Marketing Web Development team and will play a critical role in maintaining best-in-class websites for K12, including k12.com, school websites, as well as websites for K12's other lines of business.

You will be:
• responsible for ensuring content across web properties are up-to-date and correct in collaboration with product owners and marketing managers
• implementing AEM best practices in creating new features or pages, especially for optimizing page performance
• primary administrator of the CMS, including training and granting/maintaining permissions of other users and authors (especially for school websites)
• supporting the web development team during releases and on-going QA

SUMMARY: The Senior Web Content Manager is responsible for supporting K12's enterprise CMS platform on AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) as well as other platforms to support roadmap initiatives for the enhancement and maintenance of multiple unique web properties. The individual will be responsible for working with multiple lines of business at K12 and all levels of stakeholders to gather, analyze, and implement content as specified by design and business owners. This position will directly manage users of the CMS, including account creation and training as well as manage work for contractor assistance with web authoring requirements.

• Perform web content editing and publishing
• Utilize various content management system platforms (Drupal, Wordpress and (primarily) AEM) requiring the translation of business needs, processing into functional specifications that can be built to deliver best in class websites for our customer base
• Responsible for developing business use-cases, technical specifications, recommending best practices and helping to define system-level configuration across the properties
• Support website optimization projects leveraging Adobe Target & Adobe Analysis (no prior Target or Analytics knowledge required)
• Support web development and QA
• Utilize project management skills including owning some projects end-to-end on a case by case basis
• Manage, train and administer other users of AEM
• Manage and provide direction for web content updates to contractors

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree(s) AND
• Five (5) years' experience on website and digital teams OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates and Licenses: None required.

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• 4+ years of advanced experience with Adobe Experience Manager (Enterprise Content Management System)
• Experience with authoring pages in AEM v6 or higher
• Knowledge of SEO and Accessibility (508 Compliance)
• Basic knowledge of CSS, html, design, and development of websites
• 3+ years of experience owning projects end-to-end with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of website usability and related practices
• Technical understanding of how to optimize and integrate web, mobile, social and search media to provide the optimal user experience
• Experience building, mentoring, and coaching a team of web content publishers
• Experience working in an organization with multiple marketing managers, business units, and stakeholders
• Experience defining website information architecture, layout, and navigation in support of user-centric strategies
• Demonstrated capability for analysis, making data-driven decisions, and communicating results and recommendations
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to clearly articulate ideas, frame problems, and offer solutions
• Self-motivated to manage projects from inception to completion and proactively look for solutions
• Experience in Scrum/Agile development methodologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills up, down, and across the organization
• Ability to create goals, plans, messaging and communications with minimal direction
• Ability to influence and create buy-in for solutions across teams and to positively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Ability to think creatively and develop entrepreneurial solutions
• Functional knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Wikis and Slack
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency.
• Ability to travel 0% of the time
• Ability to pass required background check Etc.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience with Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions (especially AEM) preferred
