Farmington High School is seeking a Long Term Sub School Counselor beginning February 2020. The assignment will terminate at the end of the 2019-20 school year.
Requirements for t he successful candidate:
-certified as a CT School Counselor (068)
-demonstrated flexibility, organization, leadership and communication skills
-team-oriented; willing to work closely with the School Counseling Department
-collaborative in working with various stakeholder groups
-able to build positive relationships with students, parents and school community
-willing to meet annually with each student/parent on caseload for an individual planning meeting
-willing to work with and plan for struggling students to meet with academic success
-skilled in providing individual and group counseling, including crisis intervention, to remove barriers to academic success
-responsibilities/skills as determined by superintendent? or designee
Salary: $46,625 - $54,149 depending upon education
