Digital Learning Support Assistant - Temporary for SY 19/20 ONLY

FOR SY 19/20 ONLY - 10 to 12 hours per week

Position Title: Digital Learning Support Assistant

Pay Rate: $9.00/hour part-time (10-12 hours/ week) FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Supervised by and/or Reports to: Digital Learning Assistant

General Responsibilities: Duties include but are not limited to direct support of the Digital Learning Assistant with the service and repair of student computers.

Essential Duties:

Sorts and shelves devices.

Tags devices for repair and unboxes returned devices.

Preps and boxes devices for third-party repair.

Exchanges/repairs device keyboards, touchpads, screens and other system components.

Replaces device cases and cords.

Reprograms and configures devices.

Assists with inventory management processes.

Requisite Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Effective interpersonal skills for working effectively with teachers, administration, and students.

Knowledge and experience working with Windows platforms.

Requisite Education and Experience:

Computer troubleshooting experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Must have the use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, handle or feel objects and controls. Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as, but not limited to: a personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine. Some climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, or repetitive motions required.
