ABOUT THE SCHOOL/DEPARTMENT
Moore Middle School is a community of over 60 staff members that works to provide each of our 605 6th, 7th, and 8th graders a supportive environment that promotes self-discipline, motivation, and excellence in learning. We integrate our vision statement, "A Community that is Collaborative, Creative, Caring, Challenging, and Consistent", throughout the building and experiences. Here are some of the ways we live it.

Salary Plan, Grade, Step: JCE - Professional - 185 days, GR1, 1
Min-Mid Annual Salary Range: $40,989 - $57,654
RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Demonstration of effective classroom management skills.
Demonstration of strong instrumental pedagogy.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of recruitment in building a successful instrumental program.
Demonstrate willingness to work collaboratively as a member of a K-12 music articulation area.
Demonstrate willingness to work with and maintain a strong relationship with the music booster organization.
Demonstrate willingness to work as a school team member, e.g. musical, pep band, madrigals, and other school -wide events.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold a valid Colorado teaching license or authorization. Must meet content-area qualifications, which could include the appropriate license endorsement, degree in the content area, Colorado State Board of Education-approved content exam, or 36 credit hours as determined by the district.
EXPERIENCE: Successful experience in directing a high school instrumental music program. Previous successful high school teaching experience in Concert Band, Jazz Band, Orchestra ensembles, Percussion and Marching Band
