Reports To: Manager - Substitute Services
Position Purpose: Weekly time reporting for substitute staff
Qualifications:
Physical/Emotional Requirements: (The incumbent may be required to use the below requirements during any part of the working day.)
Speaking, hearing, visual, mobility, dexterity, consistency of temperament, multi-tasking, stamina for stressful situations. Fast-paced environment; some lifting; sitting/standing/walking at will. Sitting for long periods of time.
Performance Responsibilities:
Terms of Employment:
10.5 months; salary and work year to be determined by the Board of Education.
Evaluation:
Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the board policy on evaluation of Support Service Personnel
Significant associations:
The performance responsibilities are not limited to those outlined in this description and may include any other responsibilities as assigned by the administrator/supervisor
Position Purpose: Weekly time reporting for substitute staff
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have basic bookkeeping and accounting skills
- Knowledge and ability to operate computers and software programs such as spreadsheets, and related programs.
- Ability to operate office machines, i.e. copy machines, calculator, fax machine
- Preferable to have experience in using the USD 501 TERMS program for payroll entry

Performance Responsibilities:
- Collect weekly substitute time sheets from schools. Follow up with school secretaries as needed to obtain timesheets and clarify information on time worked by substitutes.
- Run reports from SmartFind substitute system, compare time sheets to information from Smart Find and make necessary corrections.
- Manually adjust pay amounts as necessary to correct Smart Find
- Bi-weekly report - check final report for additional corrections prior to taking to payroll for payment.
- Performs varied related office duties
