We are currently seeking an Assistant Director for out Career Services department at HCZ. College Readiness Manager to lead the College Readiness Team at HCZ. The ideal candidate will be experienced in strategic mapping, driving change, and leading a diverse team toward a common goal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic vision and oversee the day to day operations of the CST
  • Provide supervision to the Career Services Manager and Career Specialists
  • Provide Year to Date quarterly analyses of CST goals that includes an addendum of survey responses from students and corporate partners to the Director of CHECS
  • Design framework of key systems and processes for data management and reporting on student engagement and team goals
  • Manage systems and processes for data management and reporting on team goals
  • Liaise with sites and CHECS college readiness team for soft and technical skill development training opportunities
  • Update and disseminate a corporate partnership contact list twice a year; convene with the Development team bi-annually to review the corporate partnership contact list data
  • Engage with the Communications team to document career success stories of CHECS students and alumni

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification, Skills and Knowledge Requirements
  • Master's degree in required
  • At least two-three years of experience advising college students
  • Knowledge of relevant career assessments, career coaching strategies, and other tools to assist college students with career exploration
  • Knowledge of the landscape of higher and postsecondary education
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to complete tasks accurately and in a timely manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook; Zoom, Salesforce and Naviance Tool a plus
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the program including evening, and some weekends
  • Passion for and commitment to the mission of the Harlem Children's Zone
