Additional Job Information: E3 Instructional Staff Developer for Talent Development ?
One gifted teacher on special assignment with a history of working in Talent Development schools where he/she has worked with gifted students from under-represented groups and talented groups. This person will serve as support for the talent development component of Project E3.This staff developer will provide curriculum support and professional development for50-60 schools, implementing a STEM focused Talent Development program serving our talented learners, many of which will be from under-represented groups. The staff developer will facilitate site visits and classroom walk-throughs using an observational tool to evaluate the revised Talent Development programs. In addition to supporting Talent Development programs, teachers and curriculum, the staff developer will create and manage a summer enrichment camp for gifted and talented students. The camp will be held in three locations (south, mid, north) for 1 week and will serve a total of 300 students.

Please note that this is a 10 month instructional position but will require evenings and some summer work.

This position is funded by the Jacob Javits Gifted and Talented Education Grant.
