Requirements / Qualifications

The Pre-school Teacher on Special Assignment will work directly under the supervision of the Director or Early Childhood Programs. The selected teacher will work with the site's classroom teachers through supplemental support, staff development, and on-site coaching to enhance instruction, effective instructional strategies, and improve student achievement; will serve as the general education teacher during IEP's and assist in planning, monitoring, and evaluation of the instructional program; will provide intervention for students, including discipline and attendance as necessary. Other related duties as assigned. The applicant should at least possess one of the following permits: Child Development Teacher Permit Child Development Master Teacher Permit Child Development Site Supervisor Permit
