Deputy Director of Operations

Role
The Deputy Director of Operations will support in leading the operations of the school alongside the Director of Operations. The DDO will be a member of the leadership team and will be charged with ensuring effective operational management of the school.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Operationalize and manage non-instructional times, including but not limited to arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, breaks, and hallway transitions
  • Audit and problem-solve school wide operational system challenges
  • Manage operations ticketing system
  • Manage school facility's needs, expectations, and upkeep/beautification initiatives
  • Oversee student attendance initiatives and data management
  • Provide support to and oversite of the operations manager, operations coordinator, and office managers
  • Manage the execution of student and family joy events
  • Partner with the network technology team to manage school based technology equipment and infrastructure
  • Manage school wide testing and administration
  • Ensure district and state compliance across multiple departments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • At least three years of experience in school-based operations
  • Current authorization to work in the United States - A candidate must have such authorization by his or her first day of employment

Compensation and Benefits
Your salary is commensurate with experience; UP Academy follows the salary scales of each UP Academy's host school district.
