POSITION :
The Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Kriner Cash is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:
Extended Learning Time - After School Program at School #59 Museum
Grade 3-4 Teacher on Monday - Friday from 10-16-19 through the end of the program.

QUALIFICATIONS :
Candidates must hold a valid General Education and/or Special Education New York certificate In grades K-8 core and be currently employed with the Buffalo Public Schools as a tenured, probationary or temporary teacher. Candidates must be willing to work at least 2 days a week, Teachers will create lesson plans and utilize the curriculum provided to them, as well as supplement as needed with supervisors' approval. Teachers are expected to provide support & positive interaction with students, administer pre and post assessments, maintain attendance, and as needed, communicate and provide information to parents on the progress of their child.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teachers will work under the supervision of the Building Administration:

- Instructing students on grade level coursework using differentiated strategies and approaches effective in working with students in need of academic supports.
- Provide instruction to students in Grades K - 4 according to CCLS.
- Prepare lessons for students using curriculum provided by school administrator.
- Outside planning time will be necessary.
- Teachers will be required to work a minimum of 2 hours a day, 3:05-5:05, 2-5 days a week
- Attend mandatory program training after school.
- Utilize web based programs in the areas of Math and ELA.
