Who You Are...

You are an individual contributor in the Product Managemen t team at NWEA and will report to the Director of Product Operations . You will work across the organization to collaboratively implement best-practice processes, systems, and skill sets for successful product development, launch, and growth . You will work with colleagues to design, implement, improve, and manage major parts of the Product Lifecycle as well as the Pragmatic Framework . You will also collaborate with the Director of Product Operations to communicate across the organization about Product Management's work and results . You will implement approaches to see that Product Management gains as much insight as possible into customer pain points, challenges, and needs and that collaboration between Product Management and other groups works as seamlessly and productively as possible.

Your Next Challenge...

  • Serve as lead on d esigning, implementing, and improving (continuous improvement and feedback loops) one or more key processes within the Product Lifecycle. Product Launch and go-to-market strategies are current focus areas .
  • Align multiple teams (PdM, PE, Product Marketing) around key Product Lifecycle processes and communicate up, down, and across about the process. Set up process metrics and measure effectiveness.
  • Engage appropriate cross-functional internal stakeholders and collaborate with them to identify and roll out new Pragmatic Marketing units at company-wide level.
  • Contribute significantly to internal communications efforts aimed at the wider NWEA organization . This may include serving as lead on one or more communication vehicles.
  • Implement or maintain approaches for Product Management to gain insight into customer pain points, challenges, and needs as well as i dentify untapped market potential . T hen develop and implement plans to respond to the input it in coordination with market-facing PdMs.
  • Implement or maintain approaches for early adopter testing, pilot programs, or other means of early feedback loops to maximize probability of success for new products and features.
  • Serve as lead, as assigned, on systems for analyzing product performance , tracking business metrics, and/or tracking process metrics.
  • Ensure effective communication internally and externally of product roadmap and release plans across a portfolio of products.

Your Education and E xperience ...

  • Minimum seven years' experience in product operations, product management, product development, product marketing, business analysis or related discipline, with at least one year in product management related to the area of emphasis
  • Bachelor's degree in education, technical or business discipline or equivalent experience; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Pragmatic Marketing Certified
  • Domain knowledge and demonstrated understanding of the area of emphasis and the educational marketplace
  • Demonstrated success in product and/or marketing management of complex technology products
  • Demonstrated success in process design, implementation, and management
  • Preferred: Experience with all aspects of go - to - market planning and launch
  • Preferred: Experience with all aspects of inbound market research
