COMMUNICATIONS & MARKETING INTERN

SCOPE:

The Communications & Marketing Intern reports to the principal of W.C.A.I.S Magnet School. The Intern's primary job is to assist in marketing and promoting the Academy of International Studies Magnet School to prospective students and families in the towns and communities surrounding Danbury.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in and develop marketing materials, concepts, and designs for presentations
• Compile informational packets, brochures, pamphlets, and press releases for distribution throughout the neighboring towns of Danbury
• Brainstorm new and creative marketing campaigns
• Provide support through creative input and research of various marketing strategies
• Assist in scheduling and programming of marketing and school related events
• Other administrative duties as assigned

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent presentation and communication skills (oral & written)
• Experience with Google Drive
• Knowledge and or/experience in Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of basic web editing and graphic design
