Context
The Office of Human Capital is committed to recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining a racially, ethnically, culturally, and linguistically diverse group of highly effective and culturally proficient teachers and principals every year. We continue to focus our efforts on three key "levers" for human capital reform: Recruit, Hire Early, Cultivate, and Develop and Retain. These levers remain at the center of our strategy for accelerating student learning.

The Office of Human Capital has strategically reorganized teams in response to the district's workforce diversity needs. The new team, Recruitment, Cultivation & Diversity Programs (RCD) combines talent recruitment and cultivation, pipeline development, new teacher development and diversity programs to better support candidates and employees from recruitment throughout their careers.
