About this role...

As a NWEA Executive Account Manager, you will be responsible for supporting new and existing Partners with our growing portfolio of Products and Services , including renewals and expansions. You will also be responsible for acquiring new customers ( P artners ) and increasing NWEA's leadership position in the K-12 education assessment industry. You will work within one of our Partner Accounts teams, led by a Director of Partner Accounts, focused on reaching new school partnerships as well as working with current partnerships located predominantly in the western region of the U.S., with a focus on renewals , expansions, and growth. For this role, you may work in our Portland OR. headquarters or you may be home-based anywhere in the U.S.

Your next challenge ...

  • Lead development, qualification and conversion into opportunities
  • Actively prospect and close opportunities for NWEA products and services
  • Drive revenue growth through acquisitions of new partners, as well as expansion of current partners
  • Develop a territory strategy to penetrate and grow assigned geographic region
  • Manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience managing sales relationships, pipeline and opportunities in a CRM system (Salesforce preferred)
  • Leverage your current knowledge with K-12 education al assessment market
Traits for success...

  • Demonstrated ability managing a territory in a hybrid role both successfully negotiating and closing new enrollments, as well as maintaining a high renewal rate and expansions
  • Meet personal and team enrollment, retention, and expansion goals
  • Ensure Partner loyalty and customer satisfaction for retention; establish Partner communication strategy to uncover needs and resolve issues
  • Ability to be effective in a growing organization, and handle a volume of customer accounts and activity
  • Ability to travel, on average, up to 50%

Education and experience...

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business or a related field is preferred; or equivalent experience of education and 7 year's K-12 education experience will be considered
  • 5 years of experience with account management and field sales i n the K-12 education industry is preferred
  • Experience initiating, acquiring and growing small to mid-sized accounts
  • Experience with NWEA products, services, and procedures preferred, experience in the educational assessment market required
  • Must have ability to travel , up to 50%
