Lake Forest Community High School is seeking a Student Theater Technical Assistant.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with technology support during school-based events (i.e. lighting, sound, set-up, projection etc.)Work with the Theater Director to understand and prepare to fulfill the requests and needs associated with each eventCommunicate with the Theater Director regarding issues and/or concerns that occur during eventsCheck-in and out with the adult supervisor at each eventSubmit relevant paperwork associated with job responsibilities in a timely mannerMaintain safe working environment for stakeholders, materials, equipment, and facilitiesApply working knowledge of sound equipment and light equipment to the production of the showPerform other duties as assigned by Theater Director

Qualifications:

• Understanding of audio and visual componentsAbility to:
  • Understand and follow basic oral and written instructionsFollow school regulations and policies in a professional mannerMaintain good working relationships with staff and community membersCommunicate to supervisors and staff in an acceptable/courteous manner
