We currently have a vacancy for a 1.0 QUEST/Math QUEST teacher with responsibilities at the elementary level for the 2019-2020 school year.
Responsibilities:
Create curricular activities that encourage students to pursue their academic interest, with state and national standards and the unique program aspects of QUEST ( Gifted and Talented ).
Strong mathematics and project based learning background.
Experience with curriculum writing/development.
Knowledge of differentiated instruction techniques.
Strong knowledge and use of a variety of integrated technologies.
Organize and implement academic tasks and targets for students with a strong emphasis on advanced skill development that includes written, oral, and visual communication skills, critical and creative thinking skills, research competencies and the visual and performing arts.
Create a student centered environment to support the academic social and emotional development for students.
Must be certified in CT.
Please include a current resume, transcripts, copy of certification and 3 current letters of recommendation.
