Essential Functions and Objectives:

Responsible for leading across all of HR on strategic projects, communications and structures. Provide leadership and direction on all HR related data research issues. Establish and implement goals tracking processes ensuring alignment and accountability to district goals. Function as team liaison with the district Communications team ensuring consistent messaging within and across HR and lead on all HR related CORA requests.

- Support HR leaders in organizational effectiveness within HR including planning and coordination of HR All Hands meetings, Extended Leadership Team meetings, HR SLT tactical meetings and retreats.

- Lead HR response effort on CORA requests, including running reports and providing contextual explanations, coordinating responses from within HR and across other departments as needed.

- Lead HR goals development effort, monitoring the progress throughout the year and measuring the impact of HR efforts.

- Create compelling, data and research-driven narratives/presentations that help drive HR strategy within the organization.

- Serve as liaison to the Communications team with oversight of communications effort across all of HR.

- Support and help drive the strategy efforts of the HR Senior Leadership Team, serving as a key connector between the various HR work streams, identifying opportunities for greater collaboration and impact and implementing processes in support of improvements.

- Ability to manage complex projects, including strategy development, scope and issue management, work and resource planning, risk assessment and mitigation.

- Execution of strong organizational change management strategies, especially with cross-functional teams.

- Serve as liaison to the Communications team with oversight of communications effort across all of HR.

- Ability to translate data analysis into actionable takeaways and compelling, simple narratives.

Knowledge, Experience & Other Qualifications:

- 5+ years experience in program and/or project management experience with complex projects, including strategy development, scope and issue management, work and resource planning, risk assessment and mitigation.

- Ability to adapt and adjust in a constantly changing project environment.

- High degree of integrity in handling confidential information.

- Ability to multi-task and manage several projects in parallel.

- Understand and execute organizational change management strategies.

- Self-starter with problem solving ability.

- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

- Ability to effectively lead an organization.

- Ability to collaborate with and influence large, cross-functional teams without direct reporting responsibility.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong organizational and analytic skills and strong attention to detail.

- Strong command of MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google applications; familiarity with statistical tools (eg. SPSS) and online survey tools (e.g. Qualtrics) a plus.

- Passion for being part of a team effort to improve student achievement, decrease achievement gaps, and improve teacher retention and engagement.

Education Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in business or project management.
