The Senior Manager, Corporate Recruiting

The Senior Manager, Corporate Recruiting provides a broad range of recruiting and human resources services to clients and is responsible for the overall success of corporate recruiting. Reporting to the Senior Director, Talent Management, this role develops, implements and manages key projects, programs, and processes to meet the business needs while recruiting across multiple functions within the K12 organization to ensure prompt and accurate talent delivery.

AS A Senior Manager, CorpoRATE Recruiting, YOU WILL...
  • Develop and implements innovative recruitment procedures, supports the implementation of new strategies and procedures to support hiring needs;
  • Own and directs all enterprise-level contract recruitment vendor relationships and management;
  • Ensure internal policies, procedures are adhered to, audit and edited as needed, and appropriately communicated to appropriate clients;
  • Direct and executes executive-level candidate searches;
  • Lead strategic recruitment efforts for new and expanding business lines and opportunities;
  • Develops effective job placements including all advertising media, internet recruiting, job fairs, college recruitment, and agencies to meet business needs;
  • Lead team to implement recruitment process improvements;
  • Oversee the maintenance and coordination of all required pre and post hire employment documentation and is responsible for meeting team record keeping standards and compliance objectives;
  • Oversee the K12 Internship Program, manages the budget and strategic plan;
  • Partner with other HR staff members to cross train as necessary and build a cohesive team;
  • Coordinate community outreach initiatives where appropriate;
  • Maintain compliance with federal, State , and local regulations.
    Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises 5 - 7 Full-time Equivalent (FTE) regular employees and/or contractors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements
Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field AND
  • Ten (10) years of staffing AND
  • Five (5) years of managing a team OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

    Certificates and Licenses: None required.
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Expert knowledge of talent acquisition and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills with applicants, employees and management
  • Experience using recruiting software and Internet recruiting tools
  • Expert on State , local and federal staffing laws and regulations specific to talent acquisition
  • Success in a fast paced and growth oriented environment
  • Success in managing and staffing a virtual work force
  • Maintains strict confidentiality and protect the rights of applicants and employees
  • Must be able to work evenings/weekends as needed by management and client groups
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking software / talent management applications, preferably UltiPro
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
  • Ability to pass required background check
