Anticipated Probationary Elementary Teacher

This will be a probationary appointment for an individual who is certified to teach at the Elementary level.

• Required Certification - Early Childhood Education B-2, Childhood/Elementary Education 1-6 Additional certification of Literacy is preferred but not required

Experience and Skills Preferred:

• Knowledge of state standards across all curricular areas
• Experience providing targeted, differentiated classroom instruction
• Knowledge of Readers and Writers Workshop
• Experience using formative and summative assessments to inform instructional decision making
• Skilled at working with diverse student populations
• Ability to collaborate and work with teachers
• Postitive, effective classroom management skills/strategies
• Knowledge of PBIS programming
• Experience using technology to ehance instructional practices
