Job Description
Performance Responsibilities

• Smart PD: Professional Development Management System
o Responsible for managing the NBPS district web-based professional development management system
o Responsible for implementation and maintenance of the program utilized by NBPS staff
o Ensure the site provides content and functionality, meeting the needs of NBPS
o Responsible for ensuring the PD site is professional, informative, error-free and intuitive
o Responsible for creating and assisting NBPS staff with Smart PD accounts
o Responsible for providing day-to-day support to all staff as they maintain their individualized profiles and transcripts
o Responsible for creation and updates of all district PD offerings submitted by administrative staff
o Regulate and manage the access rights of the administrators and instructors of PD offerings
o Consistently communicates with school administrators and instructors, informing of Smart PD procedures and ensuring all details of PD offerings are complete
o Monitors web traffic, performance and capacity to identify, prevent and resolve issues
o Ensure the information accessible to staff is regularly updated including PD Welcome, PD Calendar, PD Forms, Menu Links, FAQs, and general PD information
o Responsible for annual EOY Smart PD Rollover ensuring all website data is intact and updated accordingly
o Keeps informed and updated on website technology provided directly by administrators at Smart Edu
o Maintains appropriate security and troubleshoots any issues

• District Course Reimbursement
o Accountable of all district Course Reimbursements
o Process requisitions of t Units A & B Course Reimbursement requests
o Upon verifications from HCS - process payment
o Coordinate - with HCS - process and procedure of notifying professional employees of deadlines - per Unit A & B Contract
o Maintain accountability of documentation files

• Mentoring and Induction Program
o Assist Mentor Facilitator in the coordination and process of documents
o Process stipends to District Mentors
o File Mentor Logs and Verification Sheets
o Keep accurate records of all documentation

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. At least three (3) years of office experience.
2. Respect for confidentiality of all information is essential.
3. Must demonstrate an ability to maintain a professional office atmosphere.
4. Must be self-motivated and flexible with an ability to set priorities and work with limited supervision.
5. Must demonstrate strong skills in both written and verbal communications.
6. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and pay strict attention to detail.
7. Must demonstrate an ability to effectively interact with staff, students and the community.
8. Must establish and maintain an effective working relationship with colleagues and supervisors based upon respect and commitment.
9. Demonstration of a strong work ethic is essential.
10. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, MUNIS and Aspen. An independent willingness to upgrade skills as necessary is expected.
11. Excellent attendance record is essential.
