Portland Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Educational Technician III for our functional life skills program grades 3-5 at Riverton Elementary School. Applicant should have experience implementing academic and positive behavioral support plans; collecting data; outstanding interpersonal skills and excellent ability to collaborate effectively with parents and staff. Must be willing to take Safety Care and/or Behavioral Health Professional training. Applicants must be highly qualified either by having a valid teacher certification or an authorization code of "028 NCLB paraprofessional." Applicant must also be able to lift up to thirty-five pounds.
