Description: Face-to-face interpreting sessions at Round Lake Area Schools for parent-teacher conferences on October 24th and 25th, 2019.

Location: Varies by assignment, may include any of the educational buildings within the district.

Subject/ Grade: Various grade levels (Pre-school through 12 th grade). Assignments will vary depending on need.

Dates: October 24 th , daytime and evening
October 25 th , morning

Additional opportunities may be available throughout the school year, including awards ceremonies, graduation, school events, and more!

Qualifications: Verbally fluent in both English and Spanish
High School Diploma

Responsibilities:
• Provide interpreter services at parent-teacher conferences regarding student academics, discipline, and other sensitive matters
• Be friendly and welcoming for parents
• Be objective when relaying messages from English speaker(s) to Spanish speaker(s) and vice versa
• Abide by strict confidentiality at all times
• Once scheduled, perform duties with punctuality, reliability, and professionalism
• Duties assigned by the school principal or designee
