SALARY:

Salaries are listed as Step 1, Step 2 and Step 3. A person will be paid at Step 1 during the first year that he/she supervised the activity. During the second year that he/she supervised the activity, he/she will be on

Step 2. Beginning the third year, he/she will be on Step 3.

Preference shall be given to teachers in the school in which the vacancy exists.

Soccer, Head Coach (Girls) 1,234.00 1,505.00 1,759.00

DUTIES:

- Oversee sport and travel program

- Select team for travel season

- Develop daily practice schedule

- Supervise students at all times

- Check on eligibility of all athletes

- Check attendance daily

- Establish rules and expectations for athletes

- Supervise students to away games on bus

- Issue equipment and collect it at the end of the season

- Secure building permits

- Be aware of MSSADA Rules and Regulations

- CPR Training and completion of the "Concussion in Sports" course is

required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of sport or activity

Good communication skills

Be able to successfully instruct and encourage athletes

CPR/First Aid and Coaches Education and Concussion certified are requirements for all coaching candidates
