We're hiring for a Special Education Resource Teacher - 504 Coordinator for a full-time job in Phoenix, AZ for the 2019 - 2020 School Year.
As a Special Education Resource Teacher - 504 Coordinator for Futures Education, you will be providing school-based educational services to students in the Phoenix, AZ market area. You will work directly in the school and have the additional support of the therapist-owned and operated management team at Futures Education.
The successful candidate will be able to balance the required functions of special education records creation and management and teacher monitoring with effective interaction with students, teachers, staff and parents. The candidate will have excellent communication and management skills, be detail-oriented, yet be able to see the larger picture in terms of policy and school-wide goals. The candidate will be a team player and an effective advocate for IEP, 504 and RTI students. The candidate will be able to take direction well from the Director of Student Services, and yet be able to make a creative and insightful input based on his or her expertise and experience. The candidate must have a respect for the arts and a general knowledge of the arts. Knowledge of a specific art form would be a great benefit but is not required. Understanding and compassion for art students are essential.

- BA in Education with Emphasis in Special Education
- Valid Fingerprint card
- Valid AZ Special Education Credential (Learning Disability / Cross Categorical with SEI)
- Experience required (Student teaching is applicable)
- An interest in the Arts and working at a small school
