The Math Fellows Site Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the day to day operations of the Math Tutoring program. The Coordinator is the first point of contact for Math Fellows at the building-level. The Site Coordinator evaluates Math Fellows and supports in the development and distribution of the curriculum used by the Math Fellows. The Site Coordinator reports directly to the Math Department Leadership Team.

DUTIES:

1. Ensure accurate and timely delivery of standards-based Math instruction to students in the Math Lab. 2. Ensure Fellows are adhering to professional expectations that are in alignment with district and school standards. 3. Support day-to-day operations by maintaining open lines of communications between the Math Lab and building and district level

administrators. 4. Problem-solve around the day-to-day operations of the Math Lab and escalating necessary situations to the appropriate building or

district level administrator. 5. Evaluate each Math Fellow in accordance with their contract. 6. Ensure proper data collection to evaluate progress toward student achievement. 7. Participate in meetings with the Math Department and building-level administrators. 8. Perform other job related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred; Bachelor's degree required.

Master's degree in Mathematics Education and/or Mathematics preferred.

At least five years of successful experience in a teacher leadership position preferred.

Experience or educational background in professional development planning and implementing preferred.

Experience in planning and implementing a rigorous and developmentally appropriate curriculum.

Experience in accessing and analyzing data to inform decision making.

Experience in leading and participating in professional learning communities.

Knowledge of the Massachusetts Mathematics Curriculum Framework incorporating the Common Core State Standards.

Advanced communication skills.
