Assistant Superintendent for Instruction & Human Resources - 2020/2021
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hold valid NYS School District Leader (SDL) or School District Administrator (SDA) certification
- Knowledge of New York State standards and best instructional practice
- Previous experience as a principal and/or similar district-level administrative position
- Ability to lead professional development through a variety of strategies
- Experience in using data for informing and enhancing teaching and learning
- Extensive experience in curriculum development (Understanding by Design) and assessment creation
- Experience with and knowledge of contract negotiations and administration
- Knowledge of Human Resource related legal requirements and recruitment and hiring practices
- A people person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who knows how to bring diverse interests to common understandings
- Earned Doctorate (preferred) from recognized university
