We are looking for experienced  Reading/Learning Disabilities Specialists with a Master’s Degree (or higher) in Reading/Literacy or Special Education to provide 1:1 instruction for students two times a week.   We are looking to fill part-time positions for this upcoming school year 2019-2020.  We have daytime, afternoon, and weekend hours.  We are looking for educators with K through 3^rd grade, and upper elementary through high school experience.   We are looking for educators who are experienced with best practices such as Orton Gillingham programs, and evidence based instruction for writing and reading comprehension.  

Applicants should be able to integrate common core standards for reading comprehension and writing into their sessions.  Applicants with math experience a plus and necessary for our upper grades.  Educational specialists will be responsible for progress notes, case management reports, and student program assessments. 

Applicants who are highly collaborative, and have experience with high need students are desirable.  We work with a wide range of deserving students who experience varied learning disabilities and other challenges.  Our staff is a dedicated team who embraces the mission of inspiring and raising up our students. 

We are also looking for a LITERACY TEACHER with a Master’s degree for our after-school program to organize enrichment activities focused on literacy, and to support students with homework.

We are also hiring for an EDUCATIONAL EVALUATOR to perform assessments on students who are affiliated with our agency, and to work in collaboration with our team when the assessment is completed.
