These positions will be responsible for early intervention and problem-solving as it relates to behavior and social emotional learning. This would include expertise in the area of functional behavioral analysis, data collection, progress monitoring, intervention implementation and analyzing students' response to intervention in order to assist school based teams in making data driven decisions. The District Behavior Specialist position would also focus on improving outcomes for students. This position would ensure best practices are in place, quality interventions are implemented and appropriate resources are aligned to student needs.
