POSITION SUMMARY
• The IT Compliance & Testing Specialist is responsible for supporting curriculum and instructional technology requirements for testing and career readiness district wide. • This role will be responsible for driving a culture of continuous improvement, customer focus and lasting process excellence within the information technology organization and functions as the main point of contact for all testing and assessment technology requirements. • The successful individual will leverage their experience working with student information to identify trends in need of system. • Uses deep subject matter/functional expertise to influence process and system enhancements throughout the organization. • Analytical thinking, ability to organize work in a precise manner, solves problems using clear logic from problem definition to solution, ability to concentrate for long periods of time, and is relentless in pursuit of meaningful solutions. • Is able to identify areas where other expertise is required and is willing to be self-directed in gaining knowledge and seeking help. • Someone at this level is self-motivated, learns quickly, follows instructions precisely, and documents his/her work carefully. • Distinguishes themselves as the Technical Designer/Owner of the Compliance & Testing. • This position reports to the IT Director of Service Delivery.• Works under the general oversight of a Manager within IT. • Also works closely with others in IT Infrastructure, Accountability, IT Information Services, IT Applications, APS Business Units, all APS Schools, and many external vendors and service providers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Develops a strategy and provide support to help the district meet the state minimum goal of 100% of all required test takers to successfully complete the EOC/EOG Milestone Exams and other tests with the use of technology online or as required.
• Works collaboratively with testing assessment to plan IT support for all computer based testing to include CTAE and other programs (Title - I etc.).
• Knowledge of IRS and DOL regulations relating to qualified plans.
• Gifted and all district benchmark assessments and any new testing technology required.
• Responsible for preparing all testing stakeholders and IT support with the guideline materials and processes for test readiness.
• Develop proactive wing-to-wing strategy for testing support.
• Responsible planning and coordinating all necessary technology requirements in a timely manner to minimize any discrepancies that may put a successful testing period in jeopardy.
• Works with the service desk, field support and SME's to meet the technology instructional requirements.
• Responsible for making sure that all members from each department in IT follow the guidelines that are set forth to insure that each component is ready and working properly well in advance of the actual test dates.
• Responsible for disseminating all technical information to the stakeholders for planning and execution of all IT support during the testing cycles and lab usage.
• Acts as the liaison for IT with the state, testing vendor, testing assessment, SMEs, service desk and field support.
• Responsible for collaborating with testing and compliance in order to create and maintain an IT hardware standard.
• Responsible for developing and delivering IT testing readiness reports, recommendations, requirements documentation, and presentations on a set schedule.
• Responsible for supporting other IT tasks and projects as required by the IT Director Service Delivery.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator.
• Required to attend scheduled shift during regular business hours as mandated.

Requirements :
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
? Bachelor?s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline required.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
? Information Technology Infrastructure Library Foundation Certificate (ITIL) V3 preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
? 5 years of experience in Compliance & Testing design, implementation and support for the K-12 environment preferred. ? Understanding and knowledge of Project Management. ? Management. ? Functional knowledge of best practices and industry standards.

Compensation : Salary Grade: 130
