New Bedford High School Evening Extension
Secondary Math Teacher: Algebra II, MCAS Math
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's Degree required
2. Massachusetts teacher certification in content area required
3. Teaching experience at the high school level preferred.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of content area preferred.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide effective instruction in high school level Science
2. Implement
a. MA Learning Standards for High School Health
b. Common Core State Standards for Health
c. New Bedford Public Schools Curriculum
TERMS OF EMPLOYEMTN:
Terms of employment are governed by the N.B.E.A. Unit A Contract
LOCATION: New Bedford High School
DATES: New Bedford High School Evening Extension Program operates on a trimester
basis: Trimester I: September - November; Trimester II: December - February;
Trimester III: March - May. Not all courses are offered each trimester.
Immediate need for Math Teacher(s) for Trimester I 2019.
(Monday, Wednesday and some scheduled Tuesdays, as per the trimester
schedule of courses offered.)
HOURS: 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. and/or 8:00 - 9:30 p.m.
RATE: In accordance with Unit A Contract.
