  City on a Hill began with a single high school in Boston, opening its doors in 1995. Currently we have three locations: Circuit Street & Dudley Square (Roxbury, MA) and New Bedford.   Please note that this position is based out of our Dudley Square location.

Coach Role Description:
  • Run weekly practices
  • Attend and coach all basketball games and tournament
  • Encourage good sportsmanship and team playing on and off the court
  • Motivate players to be model student-athletes
  • Coordinate basketball games with other schools
  • Maintain communication with Coordinator of Athletics and Extracurricular Activities to ensure all above requirements are met
  • Additional duties, as assigned by the Principal or Vice Principal
  • Dismissal from this position may be administered at any time for inappropriate conduct

  • Belief that every student, regardless of background, can and must achieve at high levels
