Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, plus six years of progressively more responsible experience, two of which shall have been in an oversight or supervisory capacity with special emphasis in technology support services, help desk, call center operations, and/or instructional technology preferred. Can demonstrate knowledge of computer and network operating systems and software to include SQL server databases and administration, as well as Net programming; proficiency at applicable standard desktop and communications applications and protocols; skill with evaluating and developing specifications for computer hardware, software, and networking systems; ability to design and conduct formal training classes for technology professionals; ability to assign priorities, allocate resources, measure results and manage personnel and contractors; and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
