School Master Sc hedul er Build and maintains the master schedule for each school year. The successful building of the schedule encompasses a complete and accurate school bell schedule that complies with CPS's full day schedule mandate for high school students. It also consists of complete and accurate scheduling of all enrolled
students and all classroom teachers.
Maintain all aspects of the school master schedule including but not limited to student schedule changes, balancing of class sizes and teacher schedule changes when adding or reducing faculty.
Assigns necessary work functions, on behalf of administration (ODA), to teachers for access to the various Aspen work applications and provides all related reports and monitoring of related dashboard metrics.
The scheduling function can also include the creation of evening school and summer school master schedules.
The Registrar is the official kee p er of student records such as report cards, standardized test scores ( ACT, SAT) and transcripts. The Registrar is also responsible for the receiving and updating of new or returning Chicago Public Schools students' transcripts into the CPS Student Information System (Aspen).
Responsible for the administration of grading procedures to ensure proper a n d timely posting of grades e v ery 5 weeks by teachers and correction of grades pe r CPS grading policies. The grade coordinator is also responsible for the printing and distribution of progress reports and report cards throughout the school year.

Auditing involves the monitoring and reporting of how frequent l y teachers are entering assignments and grades into Aspen Gradebook .
