Horning Middle School is seeking a full time Band/General Music Teacher to serve in our music department for the 2019-2020 school year from The preferred candidate will possess or be eligible to possess certification in Instrumental Music as well as General Music. Horning Middle School is a 1:1 iPad school, seeking a collaborative innovative teacher leader for this position. This involves planning quality instruction, executing purposeful lessons, and evaluating student-learning outcomes to inform future instructional decisions. Successful candidates should have a passion for modeling positive contributions to the school culture through rigor and high expectations, as well as display a strong teamwork ethic. A strong background in instructional technology is preferred. The job will last from on or around October 18th thru the start of the 3rd quarter in January.
