CUSTODIAL SUPERVISOR II

Location: Cole Middle School, Northeast

Work Year: Traditional 235 work days Monday- Friday 5:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

FTE: 1.0

Salary Range: $51,284 - $62,237 annually

Essential Functions and Objectives:

The Custodial Supervisor manages the day-to-day operations of a mid-sized to large school site ensuring an effective and responsive staff for emergency and routine requirements . Maintains building and grounds in safe condition at all times. Assures effectiveness of customer service, organization structures, equipment, training, production, resource allocation and cooperation with other departments within the district. Trains, supervises, and evaluates a team of five or more employees.

Knowledge, Experience, & Other Qualifications:

- A minimum of three (3) years of related experience including supervisory experience is required, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Strong knowledge of modern cleaning methods including methods of cleaning and preserving floors, carpets, furniture, walls and fixtures; cleaning equipment, tools, materials and supplies used in custodial work.

- Strong knowledge of and experience in safely and properly operating heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment and basic building maintenance.

Education Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
