Lake Forest School District 67 is seeking a full-time Literacy Teaching and Learning Facilitator (Literacy TLF).
Description: The Literacy TLF will works with teachers and administrators to implement and support goals aligned with the strategic plan by co-planning, co-teaching, and collaborating throughout the district. The Literacy TLF reports to the Director of Teaching and Learning and facilitates or co-facilitates curricular planning and/or refinement, professional development, as well as assessment design as related to all facets of the reading and writing workshop and balanced literacy. The Literacy TLF participates in paid summer work to train and plan for the upcoming school year, serves as model for professional learning, and stays apprised of research and best practice.

- Current Professional Educator License (PEL)Familiarity and/or experience with The Reading & Writing ProjectReading Specialist and/or ELA endorsement - preferredStrong background in differentiation, coaching, and curriculum development in literacy - preferred
