Camelot Education is recruiting creative, compassionate, caring professionals eager to help our students excel academically and achieve post-secondary success. We are currently accepting applications for a temporary certified High School Teacher or Long Term Substitute Teacher at our Camelot Excel Academy North campus, an accelerated program located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This position will serve students grades 9-12 for an employee who will be out on leave and is expected to last approximately ninety (90) days.

Our Teachers are responsible for designing and providing instruction in accordance with curriculum planning and timing guidelines. Teachers also conduct frequent and appropriate assessments to determine student understanding. They work closely with other instructional staff, support staff and administration with a focus on producing favorable academic outcomes and a positive school climate.

Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Current Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate
  • One year experience working with at-risk youth preferred
  • Proven ability and working knowledge with Microsoft software applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills and supervisory skills preferred
