NYS Certified School Psychology, 2+ years experience preferred but not required.
• Appropriate counseling experience, specialized training/coursework
• Demonstrated ability to work with peers and administrators, demonstrated willingness to learn and grow in order to better meet the needs of students
• Demonstrated ability to provide emotional support to children with behavioral, social and academic needs and the demonstrated ability to perform assessments, develop and implement therapeutic interventions with children and families.
• Knowledge of school practices
• Experience with special education, CSE chairing and Section 504
• Proven ability to maintain and establish positive relationships
