At Peak Expeditionary School we are purposefully different and believe that if you change learning, you change lives. We are an option school that works hard to create learning experiences that are challenging, meaningful, and adventurous! We are the first expeditionary school in JeffCO and have a three dimensional view of student achievement as we develop our students' skills & knowledge, character, and high quality work. We utilize the EL Education Literacy Curriculum (eleducation.org) and our onsite transportation to engage our students in real world learning throughout the school day.

We have created a Colorado environment theme at each grade level and we use adventure experiences in each environment to help build confidence and character in our students. As a small and diverse school we have created a strong network of community partnerships through our Expanded Learning Time grant. Our entire staff takes a very personal approach to creating positive relationships with our students, with each other, and with our community. We are CREW, which stands for "Courage, Respect, Empathy, and high quality Work" and we are always on the lookout for passionate and caring people to join our staff!
