Job Description
The Education Services Coordinator will oversee observations, screenings, assessments, curriculum planning, training, and support for children and families served by Early Head Start.
Duties
• Serve as point person for enrollment of children, technical assistance for educators and quarterly reporting;
• Oversee all observations, referrals, and services needed for all children served by EHS;
• Maintain records of all observations, parent communication, referrals and follow ups;
• Support families with Early Intervention assistance as needed;
• Attend community meetings as needed; and
• All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications
• A minimum of an Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work or Human Services is required;
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) language ability is required;
• Experience working with at risk families and infants and toddlers;
• Excellent interpersonal and advocacy skills;
• Willingness to give and receive feedback and work cooperatively on a team; and
• Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills.
