Job Description
The Community Group
The Community Group (TCG) is a private, nonprofit organization creating opportunities through education since 1970. TCG manages a range of programs, including a network of early childhood and out-of-school time programs, a network of charter and district public schools, consulting and training programs, and a child care resource and referral program, Child Care Circuit.
Role
The Coaching/Training Manager will coordinate all quality aspects of coaching/training/PD events for the Training Department at The Community Group.
Duties
• Develop a need assessment to identify professional development opportunities internally within TCG and externally within our region;
• Devise systems to ensure accurate and timely collection and management of all related program data;
• Serve as the primary contact at TCG, providing client oriented service and supporting programs and providers as needed;
• Collaborate with PDC Coordinator and Training Manager to ensure high quality program delivery;
• Conduct outreach and maintain public relations within the community;
• Lead a recruitment strategy to attract and retain participants and organizations in our programs.
• All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is required;
• Demonstrated experience as a program administrator and/or strong project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; and
• Ability to build and sustain relationships within the community that result in effective professional development for adults and quality education for young children. Bilingual ability (English/Spanish) is required.
