Student Support Services is looking for Home & Hospital Teachers (HHT) in all areas of the county.

Assignments vary depending on the needs of the student and last two to six weeks on average. The teacher and parents work together to develop a mutually convenient schedule. Typically, HHT's work six hours per week (three 2-hour sessions).

Teachers and other employees with a Bachelor's degree are eligible. The pay rate is $23.00/hour for those with a valid MD teaching certificate or $17.00/hour without certification. Additional paid time for prep/planning, administration time (ie. transporting work back and forth, meeting with teacher/guidance/staff regarding student, attending IEP meetings if necessary) and mileage.
