Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field, plus two years of progressively more responsible experience in fiscal or budget management. Can demonstrate knowledge of the theory, methods principles, and practices of fiscal management and generally accepted accounting principles and pronouncement of the governmental accounting standards board; ability to analyze and evaluate financial and budget data and methods; ability to resolve problems; capable of preparing appropriate statements, reports, budge submissions; ability to manage assigned funds; ability to effectively use automated financial systems; and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
