Job Summary
Monitors activities, projects and initiatives. Ensures that all activities and programs are measurable and include a plan for how to evaluate success. Provides support in achieving programmatic effectiveness in the operational aspects.
Essential Functions, Education for Children and Youth Experiencing Homelessness TEEN Program Specialty
  • Conducts program outreach and recruitment at all high schools.
  • Provides leadership to any outreach staff working with high school youth.
  • Provides case management to students in need of a heightened level of support.
  • Works with staff on special events to carry out programs in all areas of the office.
  • Maintains contact as needed with external stakeholders.
  • Serves as an active member on committees/groups geared towards supporting runaway, homeless/unaccompanied, nomadic and street youth age 21 and under.
  • Conducts workshops for older youth.
  • Provides support for walk-in intakes.
  • Provide referrals to appropriate services and agencies.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Two years of full-time, paid, professional experience in program management, implementation, data collections and research, which has included experience with academic enrichment in a large urban district or overseeing components of financial and administrative operations in a large organization.
OR
  • Any combination of training and experience determined to be acceptable by the Office of Talent.
