Job Description:

Camelot Education is excited about continuing a new school in partnership with the Harrisburg School District at our Cougar Achieve Academy campus. This new campus consists of three alternative education programs: Middle School and High School Accelerated and Transitional programs, as well as an Elementary K-5 program. Students are supported by a team of professionals that include credentialed teachers and behavior management professionals. The focus of these programs will be to keep students on track to graduate; and in our Transitional program, to successfully transition them back to their regular campus to achieve success.

Our Cougar Achieve Academy campus is recruiting creative, compassionate, caring educators to join our staff, eager to help our students excel academically and achieve post-secondary success. We are currently accepting applications for an Art Teacher for our Middle School and High School students for the 2019-2020 school year (and beyond)!

Our Art Teachers are responsible for designing and providing instruction in accordance with curriculum planning and timing guidelines. Art Teachers also conduct frequent and appropriate assessments to determine student understanding. They work closely with other instructional staff, support staff and administration with a focus on producing favorable academic outcomes and a positive school climate.
