We are currently seeking an Office Manager. The ideal candidate will be highly efficient and very organized with excellent interpersonal skills and possess the ability to work well with all levels of staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for opening and closing the office to the public and staff
  • Answer the phones and directs all correspondence through the proper channels
  • Supervise space planning and internal office moves and renovations
  • Oversee the maintenance and repairs of office equipment and ensure that it is done in a proper and timely manner
  • Interact with the appropriate parties to address building services issues such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security
  • Set up and clean up after meetings in the conference room
  • Ensure kitchen is clean and items are fully stocked
  • Prepare memorandums and other materials describing office procedures and standards
  • Coordinate the purchase order process and negotiates contracts for all office supplies, furniture, equipment and administrative/ maintenance services
  • Monitor contracts for office equipment and support services
  • Maintain an inventory of office supplies
  • Assist with HR projects as needed
  • Perform other duties assigned

Qualification, Skills and Knowledge Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook
  • Strong ability to administer multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload
  • Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity and discretion
  • Professional, polished, strong self-starter with a "can do" attitude in addition to a flexible approach
  • Excellent presentation skills together with the ability to think on your feet
  • Excellent relationship management working with multiple stakeholders at different levels of seniority
  • Strong writing and communication skills is desired
  • Strong work ethic and impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a broader team
  • Familiar with issues prevalent in underserved communities of color
