The Scarsdale Schools' Technical Services team has an anticipated vacancy for a talented, experienced, and highly motivated candidate for a Network Specialist position.

Under the supervision of the Manager of Educational Technology, the incumbent configures, installs, and maintains computer equipment, mobile devices, and peripherals, as well as installs and maintains wired and wireless network components. The Network Specialist is expected to exercise independent judgement, as well as conduct research and maintain up-to-date knowledge on operating systems, hardware and network infrastructure. The incumbent may be required to respond to service calls from buildings throughout the school district.

The following skills are required:

• Self starter with ability to anticipate business needs and offer proactive recommendations
• Knowledge of Mac OS, iOS, and Windows operating system
• Experience with designing, implementing, and administering virtualized servers
• Experience with designing networks and managing network infrastructure
• Knowledge of HP and Aruba network components preferred
• Experience with administering an Active Directory environment, including: ADFS, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and PKI
• Experience with network content filtering preferred
• Knowledge of IP telephony preferred
• Knowledge of Google G Suite management a plus
• Knowledge of Apple School Manager, VPP, and DEP a plus
• Knowledge of SCCM, Jamf Pro preferred
• Knowledge of Lightspeed Systems and Intune a plus
• Excellent analytical, problem solving skills and strategic thinking skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to manage projects independently
• Strong organizational/time management skills and ability to effectively prioritize workload
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Ability to document systems, processes, and procedures
• Knowledge of public schools and their systems preferred
