Stevenson High School (Lincolnshire, IL) is seeking exceptional applicants for a long-term Mathematics Teacher during the 2019-2020 school year.
Description:
Candidates must have strong content and pedagogical knowledge to teach Geometry and AP Calculus AB or other courses as needed. Experience in collaborating with colleagues, supporting student-centered/discovery based instruction, and remediation is desired.
(This long-term assignment has the potential for continuation into another long-term Mathematics Teacher opening).
Qualifications:
Qualified applicants will hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator's License (PEL) with secondary mathematics endorsement required. Exceptional candidates have experience using standards-based grading education models, differentiation, use of instructional technology, understanding of response to intervention (RtI) and instructing through the lens of social-emotional learning (SEL).
